geography

It is the science specialized in the study of the earth with all its human, animal, plant, layers, and natural phenomena, in addition to maps and methods of drawing them. The countries they passed through, their ways, the customs of their people, their gender and their characteristics.

Geography is divided into several other sciences, to facilitate its study, namely:
_ Physical geography, which is concerned with the study of the Earth with its inner layers, surface and astronomy, and includes several other sciences such as:

  • climatology
  • geomorphology
  • environmental geography
  • Biogeography
  • Natural Resources
  • natural disasters
  • astrological geography
  • desertification
  • seas and oceans
  • Fresh water

_ Human geography includes the study of population numbers, its density, the boundaries of the political states set by man, the cities he built, and the distribution of the population in them:

  • geography of politics
  • social geography
  • Urban and regional planning
  • Economic Geography
  • Historical geography

_ Cartography is the science that specializes in drawing maps that serve the sciences of geography, including political, natural, and aerial maps.

The science of geography is in line with human development, and therefore geography has become dependent on what the modern human has reached, and it has included other sciences such as:

  • Remote Sensing
  • GIS
  • Geodesy
