The Sea Wolf is another Jack London novel and its main theme is Survival of the Fittest. A thoughtful but kind gentleman, Humphrey Van Weyden, has been rescued from a ship collision by Wolf Larsen, a brutal, cynical, clever, and intellectual captain of a seal trawler called The Ghost. Wolf Larsen controls the ship and his crew with his arrogance, but somehow he takes care of Humphrey. Wolf fights many of the situations that his crewmates face as he takes on a powerful position on the ship, except that he emerges as a winner each time by killing his crew members. In another incident, a poet named Maude Brewster, known to Humphrey as a writer on board the ship. Soon, both Humphrey and Wolf fell in love with her. But Brewster just loves Humphrey. Over time, Wolf Larsen kills many of his crew and the crew's strength decreases day by day. Unable to accept Wolf's cruelty, Humphrey and Brewster sail away from the ship in a boat and reach an island. Meanwhile, Wolf's brother Larsen, Death Larsen, who is also a captain, attacks him for revenge and ends up destroying the Ghost. The ghost finally crashes on the same island that Humphrey has reached. The attack left Wolf Larsen paralyzed. In the event Humphrey wanted to repair the ship, but Wolf-Larsen resisted it despite his physical condition. But Humphrey takes care of him, even though Wolf-Larsen's intentions are known to him. Whether the wolves had a bad fate, he died while sailing. Humphrey buries him at sea and he returns home.
