Books review of author Abdul Alhazred pdf

Abdullah bin Zahr al-Din, also known as Abdullah al-Hazrad, is a famous Yemeni poet, born in the city of Sanaa in 700 AD. He was characterized by madness and lived during the reign of the caliphs of the Umayyad state. Although "Abdullah" is a common Arabic name, "Hazrad" is a name created by the famous Lovecraft writer inspired by his family name "Hazard". It is also said that the name “Al-Hazrad” came from the name given to him by the jinn.

It is mentioned in Ibn Khallikan’s narrations how Al-Hadhrad died. After he disappeared from Damascus, according to the story, Al-Hadhred was seen wrestling with an invisible monster, and was swallowed up in broad daylight. Some historians attribute his death to his writing of the Al-Azif manuscript.

The character of Hazrad had different meanings. Abdullah Al Hazrad was a crazy Arab who embraced magic and learned from the jinn secrets of the hidden world. His thoughts revolved around communicating with the jinn and his belief that they possessed the truths and could help humans understand the mysterious secrets of the universe.

It is indicated that Al-Hazrad gained wide fame in the world of poetry, and he wanted to increase his knowledge by entering the world of magic and jinn. It is also said that he disappeared for ten years, which he spent in the desert of the Empty Quarter in search of jinn. He visited Babylon and met strange beings, whom he described as "alsaayiba" and that he learned magic from them.

His book "Al-Azif", in which he wrote drawings and talismans revolving around the world of jinn and demons, has been translated into several languages. It is also narrated that the Arabic copy of the book was burned, and a Jew acquired another copy before burning and translating it into Hebrew.

Is he a real or fictional person? This remains a mystery, with some questioning the reality of his existence and seeing him as a character created by Lovecraft. However, others emphasize his identity as an Arab poet and magician.
