Emile Habibi is a Palestinian writer, journalist and politician, born in Haifa on August 29, 1921, where he grew up and lived until 1956 when he moved to Nazareth, where he stayed until his death. In 1943 he devoted himself to political work within the framework of the Palestinian Communist Party and was one of the founders of the National Liberation League in Palestine in 1945. After the establishment of the State of Israel, he was active in restoring unity to the Communists within the framework of the Israeli Communist Party, which was one of its representatives in the Knesset (Israeli Parliament) between 1952 and 1972 when it resigned From his parliamentary position to devote himself to literary and journalistic work.
